This tour is designed for photographers of all levels who want to improve their skills and creativity while enjoying the spectacular scenery of New England in the fall. You will be guided by an experienced and friendly instructor, who will share their tips and tricks on how to photograph fall colors, as well as provide feedback and critique on your images. You will visit some of the best locations for fall photography in New England, such as:
  • Salem, Massachusetts: This town is famous for its witch trials in the 17th century, but it also has a rich maritime and cultural heritage. You can photograph the historic houses, museums, cemeteries, and monuments that tell the story of Salem’s past.
  • Rockport, Massachusetts: This seaside town is a popular destination for artists and photographers, who are drawn to its picturesque harbor, rocky shores, and colorful buildings. You can photograph the iconic Motif Number 1, a red fishing shack that is said to be the most painted building in America. You can also explore the art galleries, shops, and restaurants that line the quaint streets of Rockport.
  • Kancamagus Highway, New Hampshire: This is a scenic route that showcases the beauty of the White Mountains, especially in the fall. You can photograph the panoramic vistas, the sparkling rivers, the cascading falls, and the historic sites along the 34.5-mile stretch of road.

  • Highway 100, Vermont: This scenic route runs through the heart of Vermont, offering stunning views of the Green Mountains, rolling hills, farms, and villages. You can photograph the changing colors of the leaves, the covered bridges, the waterfalls, and the wildlife along the way. You can also stop at some of the charming towns, such as Stowe, Waterbury, and Waitsfield, to enjoy the local food, craft, and culture.
  • Cape Cod, Massachusetts: This peninsula is a popular summer destination, but it also has a lot to offer in the fall, when the crowds are gone and the weather is mild. You can photograph the sandy beaches, lighthouses and harbours.
  • Boston, Massachusetts: This is the largest and oldest city in New England, and it has a rich history and culture that are reflected in its architecture, monuments, and museums. You can photograph the landmarks of the Freedom Trail, such as the Old State House, the Old North Church, and the Bunker Hill Monument, that tell the story of the American Revolution. You can also visit the Quincy Market or take a cruise around the bay.
